Elisabeth Narkin is a doctoral candidate in Duke University’s Department of Art History and Visual Studies, where she studies Early Modern French architecture. Elisabeth received her B.A. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in Art History and French from Boston College in 2007 and an M.A. in Art History from The George Washington University in 2009. Her research interests include French court society, architectural spaces for royal children and families, and the convergence of public and private spaces. Narkin has been a researcher with Visualizing Venice since 2010 and has worked on the Accademia and Arsenale projects.
